Auxilium’s Recovery Support Work team are at hand to support you on your journey. The recovery-oriented approach drives everything we do, as reflected in our attitude, values, words and actions.
This means we are always respectful and non-judgemental, with an understanding that each person is unique and should be listened to, treated with dignity and respect and supported to make you own choices.
You are the expert in your own life and we will simply provide the support you need to pursue your hopes, goals and aspirations. This applies across the board, whether the support you require involves:
- Assistance with Self Care Activities (Personal Care Support), and/or
- Assistance to Access the Community, Social and Recreational Activities.
Some of the ways in which we will provide this support include:
- Offering practical support, advice and guidance in the pursuit of recovery-oriented goals
- Assisting with capacity building for independence and social/ community connection
- Working collaboratively with formal and informal networks, adopting a holistic approach
- Referring and liaising with other required supports and services
- Monitoring progress and maintaining records
